Issuance of residence permits to foreigners in Turkey has been resumed

Good news, the ice has broken! The issuance of residence permits to foreigners in Turkey has been resumed. There are reports from the Turkish Migration Service that citizens of different countries will again be able to obtain a tourist residence permit, an initial one, and an extension of the previous one. For those renting housing for a residence permit period of 6 months, it is necessary to present a rental agreement. And for up to 12 months, for homeowners, even if its cadastral value is below $200,000, a Certificate of Title (TAPU) is required when submitting documents. The relaxation applies only to areas open to residence permits. According to reports from some branches of the migration service, the first applications from foreigners have already begun. Necessary conditions: opening a bank account and confirmation of income for the period of residence under a tourist residence permit (required amount in the account or salary from abroad).
