Gifts are not an obligatory part of Mother's Day in Turkey, but leaving mother without any attention on this day is considered shameful or incivility. It is enough to express respect and love to your mother with beautiful words from the bottom of your heart, drink aromatic Turkish tea with your family and have a heartfelt conversation.
