Tuzla and Sile - suburbs of Istanbul

TUZLA
A district in the suburbs of Istanbul: which stretches along the Sea of Marmara. The area is located just behind Sabiha Gokcen Airport and is a quiet, peaceful place with a beautiful marina where local cafes and shops are located.
The area has a long history that dates back to the Byzantine period. Tuzla was traditionally a center for salt production, which is where its name comes from (Tuz means salt in Turkish).
For centuries, the Tuzla region was an important center of shipbuilding and trade. The region was famous for its shipyards, where ships were built and serviced. Tuzla continues this maritime tradition to this day, playing an important role in modern shipbuilding and yacht building. Since the region has many shipyards, ports and marinas along the seashore, the region cannot boast of beaches. But the coast is interesting for walks along the piers and a pleasant pastime in coastal cafes and restaurants with views of the seascapes.
You will hardly see tourists here, since the area is located far from the center of Istanbul and has no cultural and historical attractions. However, thanks to its maritime culture, Tuzla has great opportunities for coastal entertainment. If you're interested in shipping, water sports and ocean views, this area offers a unique experience. The relaxed atmosphere and natural parks also make it a pleasant destination for active holidays. Although Tuzla does not boast a wealth of historical monuments, there are still interesting places to visit:

SILE
The district is located in a small narrow strip along the Black Sea coast, has clean secluded beaches and beautiful nature and is the smallest district of Istanbul. There are no major infrastructure facilities here, but several hotels have been built that are designed for short holidays by the sea, and therefore do not have a wide range of services, but they will provide you with a clean room, breakfast and proximity to the sea.
The attractions here are more of a natural nature. The only blue flag beach in Istanbul, Uzunkum, is located in Şile. Particularly noteworthy are the Weeping Rocks and the lighthouse with a century and a half history.
Local residents love to come to Shilya for picnics, preferring holidays at summer cottages by the sea to permanent residence. There is little permanent resident population here. There is a seaside resort atmosphere here. There are a lot of vacationers, no one is in a hurry, there are no high-rise buildings and a beautiful seascape stretches along the entire city.
