Cadastral value threshold for obtaining Turkish citizenship

Turkish migration services report an upcoming increase in the threshold for the cadastral value of real estate, which gives the right to obtain citizenship of the Turkish Republic. Starting from January 2024, real estate purchased by a foreign citizen for the purpose of obtaining Turkish citizenship must be valued by an expert at at least 600,000 US dollars and must have the same cadastral value indicated in the TAPU (certificate of title). If the cost of a residential property is below this amount, the application for citizenship will not be accepted for consideration.
Currently, the threshold for the cadastral value of real estate that gives the right to obtain Turkish citizenship is the equivalent of 400,000 US dollars, and if you plan to apply for Turkish citizenship, you should hurry up with the purchase of housing in order to save your money.
