Digital Nomad Visa in Turkey

The Turkish Tourism Development and Promotion Board, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, has taken a significant step to attract remote workers from around the world by offering a new type of tourist visa: the Digital Nomad Visa in Turkey. This visa opens the door to foreign professionals wishing to work remotely from the friendly, warm Turkey with its picturesque landscapes.
The approval of the Digital Nomad Visa correlates with the growing global demand for remote work. As more companies move to hybrid and remote work models, a growing number of professionals want to live and work outside of their home countries. Turkey, a favorite tourist destination with its prime location, rich cultural heritage and affordable cost of living, is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for digital nomads from around the world.
The Tourism Development and Promotion Board is particularly interested in attracting foreign digital nomads to two key destinations: Istanbul and Dalaman in Mugla province. These cities offer excellent infrastructure for remote work, as well as rich opportunities for cultural and historical excursions.
